Suspect arrested in Orangeburg shooting

ORANGEBURG, SC--(WCIV) The Orangeburg County Sheriff's Office says they have the man responsible for a Friday night shooting that left one man dead.

45 year old Carvin Holman was arrested early Saturday morning without incident after a 24 hour man hunt.

Authorities suspect Holman shot and killed 45-year old Anthony James Senior Friday night near Holly Hill.

Orangeburg County Sheriff Leroy Ravenell says "a friend of Holman's contacted the Sheriff's Office to have his property checked out before he entered his home.{} Holman was locate in a vehicle on those grounds between 6 and 7 miles from the scene of Friday's Shooting.{}

Investigators are still questioning Holman - no word yet on a motive.
