CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) -- Three people held at the Charleston County Detention center are now also being charged with kidnapping.
According to Charleston County Sheriff's Office spokesman Major Jim Brady, the charges are related to the murder of Marquis Rashad Richardson who was found shot to death along railroad tracks off Lincolnville Road on December 20.
"During the course of the investigation, detectives learned that Richardson was abducted at gunpoint from 69 Norman Street and was forced into a vehicle, and was driven from the residence," Brady said.
Sunday morning around 9 a.m., King Dominique Wilson, 22, of North Charleston, Latasha Yvette McCall, 23, and Travaris D. Walker 29 from Charleston, were all charged with one count of kidnapping.
All three suspects, who were already in custody, received no bond during a hearing on Sunday.
Brady says a warrant has been issued for the arrest of Fredrick Andre Sanders, 29, who is also being charged with kidnapping.
Authorities are continuing to investigate, and no formal murder charges have been filed.
"Detectives continue to seek a motive for the homicide as well as determining what, if any, part the defendants may have played in the death," Brady said.
Sanders' last known address is 26 Flood Street, Charleston.
Anyone with information about where he is should call Crime Stoppers at 554-1111, or the Charleston County Sheriffs Office at 202-1700.
