CHARLESTON, SC (WCIV) -- Four people arrested, one gunman has been charged with the murder of Marley Lion.

Investigators made the arrests Monday night, and the news public in a press conference Tuesday afternoon. Police say two more murder charges will soon follow.

Shortly after the murder, officers released surveillance video from the night of Lion's death. The investigation took weeks but police say those men seen in the video, who killed Lion, are now in custody.

Charleston Police Chief Greg Mullen said his investigators were committed to finding the men responsible for Lion's murder.

"This is not just a job for us, I take it personally. These people (investigators) take it personally," said Mullen.

Tuesday, Mullen called the case one he'll remember above many others, because of what he said was the senseless act of violence against the teenage boy.

"You never want to get the call that it's a murder. You certainly never want to get the call it's a juvenile, and it's for absolutely no reason at all," Mullen said.

The surveillance video, officers publicly focused on since the night Lion was murdered, according to police, shows two of the men responsible, first the trigger man, Ryan Deleston. Deleston's been charged with murder, attempted armed robbery and weapons charges.

Also in the video, the man once identified as a witness, Julius Brown. To date he's been charged with obstruction of justice.

Officials say a third accomplice, Bryan Rivers, faces drug and weapons charges. George Brown did not appear in court Tuesday, but was also arrested in connection.

"Our hearts go out to the victim's family, it's going to be a long road, they are going to need your support too," said Solicitor, Scarlett Wilson.

Robert and Elizabeth Paige, Lion's parents, were seen embracing loved ones shortly after the initial court hearing for the accused. They've not spoken publicly since the arrests were made.

"We've been in contact with the parent. We've been with them throughout this," said Mullen. "We briefed them yesterday morning on the operation that was going to be conducted. We've been doing the best we can to keep them informed."
