CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) -- A frozen yogurt store will open a juice bar next month to provide its customers a thirst-quenching and nutritious treat.Sweet CeCe's will open the Juice Bar on Dec. 1 in its store on South Market Street.
Neda Smith, a nationally recognized Natural Health Specialist and owner of NaturalNeda will work alongside health professionals to create the store's juice offerings.
The Juice Bar, with the assistance of industry experts, will act as a "retail-laboratory" to study the positive impacts of juicing. The staff will receive special training through a juice master curriculum. "Juicing is a fabulous way to ingest a multitude of vitamins, minerals and antioxidants into the bloodstream," said Smith. "Because juicing takes a minimal amount of energy to digest, it gives the digestive system a rest and it allows the drinker to absorb more nutrients." Juice options will include Sweet Grass, a combination of juice from spinach, cucumber and celery, and the Charleston Plantation, a mixture of juice from pineapple, blueberry and ginger.Customers will also have the option to purchase individual juice bottle kits to go.
