GREENVILLE, S.C. (AP) -- A major bank is celebrating its new presence in South Carolina.
TD Bank plans to cut the ribbon officially opening its new building in Greenville at 10 a.m. Friday.
The new building will be the bank's hub for operations across the Southeast. Officials say several hundred employees are already working there, will hopes to have up to 1,400 people by 2016.
The 300,000 square-foot building sits along Interstate 85 in Greenville, and includes a large sign with the green TD Bank logo.
The Greenville campus is TD Bank's third hub. The company's dual U.S. headquarters will remain in New Jersey and Maine.
TD Bank CEO Bharat Masrani will speak at the ribbon-cutting ceremony.
