The Huddle Week 2: Breaking down the big games

MOUNT PLEASANT, S.C. (WCIV) -- ABC News 4's Scott Eisberg and the Post and Courier's Andrew Miller make their picks on the biggest games of the week in high school football. How will they fare? Tune in each week to find out!Last week, Eisberg beat Miller in the picks, 5-4.Game 1: Ashley Ridge and WandoBoth experts say Wando will roll through the Foxes in the ABC News 4 Game of the Week, citing a big 45-point half in Week 1 and their work off turnovers. Last week, Wando beat White Knoll, 45-13, while Ashley Ridge did some damage to James Island with a 56-21 win.Game 2: Berkeley and SummervilleAgain, Miller and Eisberg see the game shaking out the same way, with the Green Wave crashing over the Stags. It's an old rivalry game for the two teams, too.Miller says he was shocked by Cane Bay's performance against Summerville in Week 1, forcing the Wave to gut out a 15-13 win. With Stratford beating Berkeley in Week 1, and Summerville just pulling out a win, Eisberg says McKissick will be working the team hard in practice and locking up a win Friday night.Game 3: Bishop England and HanahanFor a third pick, both Eisberg and Miller say Hanahan's Hawks will take down the Bishops. Last week, Hanahan fell to Timberland, 25-14, and Bishop England took a beating from West Ashley, losing 55-14.For Miller, he says Bishop England is not the team they used to be. Eisberg on the other hand says he lives in Hanahan and does not want to see unrest after another Hanahan loss.Game 4: Colleton County and James IslandLast week, Colleton picked up a big win against Beaufort, 32-20, and Miller learned a lesson. He says he won't be picking against the team from Walterboro again after watching them control the field in the Friday Night Rivals game of the week.Eisberg says Latrell Nieves had some of the best plays of the year in Week 1 and he expects more of the same when they visit James Island. He sticks with Colleton for another week.Game 5: Goose Creek and RidgeviewGoose Creek came off a tough loss in a 650-mile road trip to Ohio for Week 1, scoring only one touchdown."When's the last time that happened in the Chuck Reedy era?" asked Miller, adding the Gators bounce back and take out some frustrations from last week at Ridgeview.Eisberg also goes with the Gators, pointing to a pair of fourth-and-1 failed attempts for the Gator offense in Week 1 that will fuel an offensive comeback in Week 2.Game 6: Stratford and SumterThe experts are split on this game. Stratford had a good game in Week 1 against Berkeley, but Sumter beat perennial powerhouse Greenwood. Miller says Knights head coach Joe Marion might not have the team ready for that kind of fight and picks Sumter.Eisberg goes with history. Stratford beat Sumter in a match-up last year and he sees that happening again in 2014.Tune in next week to see how the Miller and Eisberg fared and see next week's picks.Almost every Friday night, ABC News 4 streams a Friday Night Rivals game of the week online. This week, there will not be a rivals game, but the ABC News 4 team will be live at the game of the week. Then after the game, on air and online, Scott Eisberg and Daren Stoltzfus break down all the games of the night in the high school football special, Friday Night Frenzy during the 11 p.m. news.
