The Huddle's Picks of the Week

CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) -- It's time for an all-playoff edition of The Huddle.Schools at every level are gearing up for playoff games this week, including Goose Creek, who is ranked first in their division coming off a perfect season.

Summerville and Ashley Ridge:

Both Phil Bowman and Dean Stephens say history will repeat itself this week and Summerville will win again over Ashley Ridge. The Green Wave advance to the next round.

Goose Creek and Wade Hampton:

When a 16-seed takes on a 1-seed in any bracket, it's almost always bad news for the little guy. This week will be no different, say Stephens and Bowman. Goose Creek continue their roll to the state title game.

Stratford and Nation Ford:

It's a closer match-up, but the guy taking the snaps for Stratford will do some real damage to the Nation Ford defense. Both experts pick Stratford over Nation Ford.

Hanahan and Marlboro County:

In the ABC News 4 Game of the Week, look for a close game that will force Hanahan to come up big to secure their next game in the playoffs, but the Hawks will move on over Marlboro, Stephens and Bowman say.

Bishop England and Andrews:

Bishop England is coming off a bye week thanks to a 9-2 season and top billing in their bracket. Now they face a 7-4 Calhoun County team that will not stand up to the Battle of the Bishops. Stephens and Bowman pick Bishop England to advance.

Timberland and Aynor:

The Timberland Wolves are also coming off a bye week to host Aynor. That rest will matter, Bowman and Stephens say, and the Wolves will advance.
