CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) -- With all of the lists Charleston has been making lately, cheapest airfare might not be one you would have expected.
Last year, Cheapflights.com ranked Charleston International Airport as 99th out of 101 cheapest airports in the nation. This year we've moved up to the top 30 with an average fare of $390.
Since last year's rankings Charleston International has added JetBlue to its list of carriers.
According to the site, the prices are average from what their users found during the month of June as they searched for flights to popular destinations like London, Miami and Honolulu.
The title for cheapest airport in the nation went to Daugherty Field in Long Beach, CA followed by Myrtle Beach's Jetport, which was 42 in 2012.
In the upstate, Greenville-Spartanburg went from 88 to 46 with an average airfare of $448.
Last places went to Honolulu International at 101 and Washington Dulles at 100.
