Tropical Storm Dorian maintains current strength & movement

MIAMI (AP) -- Tropical Storm Dorian maintains its current strength and intensity{}as it makes its{}way across the open Atlantic.

The storm's maximum sustained winds are 60 mph as of 11am Thursday.

Dorian is located 1800{}miles east of the Northern Leeward Islands and is moving west-northwest near 17 mph.

Currently, there are no land threats from the storm, but those in the Caribbean should continue to monitor Dorian.

Meanwhile, Tropical Storm Flossie remains far out over the Pacific. Flossie's maximum sustained winds are near 40 mph with slow strengthening expected over the next day or so. The storm is centered about 2,155{}miles east of Honolulu, Hawaii and is moving west at 16 mph.
