SEATTLE (WCIV) -- The national headquarters of the Machinists union is forcing a vote on a revised 777X contract extension offer from Boeing, according to reports from ABC's Seattle affiliate, KOMO.
The station reports union leaders faced pressure in recent days after they declined to put Boeing's last offer to a vote.
The latest proposal came on Dec. 12 but leaders said they felt the offer was too similar to the one they rejected in November.
If the company cannot reach an agreement with machinists in Washington, Boeing officials said they will move the production to a different state.
North Charleston is one city that submitted a proposal to manufacture the 777X.
