Unoccupied boat moored to Ashley River bridge draws more calls
CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) -- Charleston fire officials say a boat hit the Ashley River bridge Monday evening and crews from two agencies responded.
According to Charleston County Rescue officials, the boat has been unoccupied for a while and is tied to one of the bridge pilings.
As a result, the boat looks like it's hitting the bridge when the time comes in and like it ran aground when the tide is out.
There is no one on the boat and no one is injured, officials said, adding that boat has generated several calls.
