US Sen. Rand Paul again visiting early-voting SC
ANDERSON, S.C. (AP) -- U.S. Sen. Rand Paul is again coming to South Carolina to help raise money for Republicans.
Paul is participating in a fundraiser for U.S. Rep. Jeff Duncan. The "Faith & Freedom BBQ" is happening in Anderson and also features an appearance by U.S. Sen. Tim Scott.
This is Paul's second visit this summer to South Carolina, home to the South's first presidential primary. In late June, the Kentucky Republican helped raise money for the state GOP and spent time meeting with tea party-leaning groups.
