USC, Clemson fans face off at blood drives
GEORGETOWN, S.C. (AP) -- There are still several weeks until South Carolina and Clemson play on the football field, but fans are getting a chance to start the competition up a little early.
Georgetown Memorial Hospital is holding a series of blood drives pitting supporters of the Tigers and the Gamecocks against each other.
The first of three drives is happening on Friday at the Georgetown Memorial Hospital. Other events are Oct. 24 at HealthPoint Center for Health and Fitness and Nov. 1 at Waccamaw Community Hospital.
All donors are entered into a drawing for a tailgate basket to be awarded close to the Nov. 30 football game.
