WASHINGTON (WCIV) - Popcorn or Caramel? President Barack Obama is letting the American public decide which turkey will be the National Thanksgiving Turkey.

On Wednesday, the president will announce the winner, and while both birds will be pardoned and live out their days on a farm, only one will take be this year's national turkey.

There's a voting page on the White House's website that sizes up the two birds born on the same day in July.

Caramel is a 38-pound 4-ounce turkey that stands two feet tall. His walk is described as "steady and deliberate," and he has a "quick, clear and frequent" gobble. Caramel's favorite food is soybean meal and can usually be found jamming out to Lady Gaga's "Bad Romance."

Popcorn on the other leg, tips the scales just a bit lighter at 37 pounds, 6 ounces. He's one inch shorter than his counterpart, but appears to be much stockier than the numbers show. Popcorn's strut is "proud," the White House reports, and his gobble is "more garbled, (with) longer notes." Popcorn lives for corn and "Halo" by Beyonce.

This is surely the Rocky v. Apollo of the tryptophan world.
