Young Cepelova continues her march into Family Circle history

CHJARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) - Jana Cepalova battled through a third set tiebreaker that went seven points to a{}6-4, 5-7, 7-6 (7) victory over 17-year-old Belinda Bencic and reach the Family Circle Cup finals on Saturday.

Cepelova had leads of 5-4 and 6-5 in the third set, but couldn't convert against the qualifier Bencic. Bencic became the youngest semifinalist at the Cup since{}Martina Hingis{}was 17 in 1997

Cepelova is without a team this week, going about her run on her own. Her coach went home following her playing in Miami and{}Janette Husarova, a countrywoman, played the coach role of coach on Tuesday when she beat Williams.

"I am here alone. My family, my coach support me from our country during the match, and I feel it," she explained. "And if [win]{}like some very important points, I try to [turn] to the camera to [fist pump]."

Cepelova will play the comparatively veteran German Andrea Petkovic, who is 26 years old, on Sunday at 1 p.m. The match will be aired on ESPN2.
