Books (Thinkstock)

Think of it as a book fair for all ages.

On Friday and Saturday, March 2-3, the Charleston Friends of the Library will host their Spring Book Sale at the Otranto Regional Library. Admission is free.

If you go, you'll be able to browse through more than 10,000 gently used books, CDs, DVDs, and audio books at heavily discounted prices.

Books will be available with prices starting at $1 for paperbacks and $3 for hardback books. Items include mysteries, romances, classics, children’s books, local histories, cookbooks and a variety of non-fiction topics.

Children’s books start at just $0.50 each.

Last year’s annual Spring Book Sale raised more than $6,000. All proceeds raised at the book sale go directly to the Charleston County Public Library System.

Here is this year's schedule:

Times for Friday are 9 a.m.-5:30 p.m. The event is open 9 a.m.-4 p.m. on Saturday.

A special event for Friends of the Library members will be held Thursday, March 1, 5-7:30 p.m.

The Otranto Regional Library is located at 2261 Otranto Road in Charleston.
