2014 firefighter calendar debut party set for tonight

CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) -- Fans of firefighters wearing very little clothing will want to clear their calendars Thursday night for the 2014 Firefighter Calendar Debut Party to benefit Charleston Animal Society.

In fact, you can take home a firefighter with a special date auction.

On Thursday evening, the Charleston Animal Society will host the part at the Woolfe Street Playhouse in downtown Charleston.

The party begins with a VIP reception at 6 p.m. Doors open for the general public an hour later and the party kicks off about an hour after that.

Attendees of the party will have the chance to purchase a calendar for 10 percent off. All proceeds go to Toby's Fund, a medical fund set up by Charleston Animal Society, that helps treat Charleston's injured, abused and abandoned animals.

Autographed calendars signed by all the models will be available at the party for a discounted price of $30. The date auction will put winners together with the firefighting models at some of the city's best restaurants, including FISH, Hall's Chophouse and Middleton Place.

Interested in tickets? VIP packages are available for $85 and includes a calendar, access to the VIP reception, a meeting and photo opportunity with the models and a complimentary drink. Standing room tickets are $30.

In May, celebrity judges from the Lowcountry -- including ABC News 4's Stefanie Bainum -- rated and selected the models for the 2014 calendar at an event at the Music Farm.
