Firefighters bare almost all for CAS calendar

NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) -- Nearly two months after showing their moves to hundreds of screaming women, the cream of the firefighting crop met up again Wednesday afternoon to bare almost everything for a charity calendar.

At the Charleston Fire Department training center in North Charleston temperatures rose ever so slightly as a group of the Lowcountry's sexiest firefighters gathered for a calendar photo shoot for the Charleston Animal Society.

The money raised from the sale of the calendar will go toward animal care at the shelter, including food, medical costs and other services.

Ryan O'Shea, one of the firefighters in this year's calendar, said he doesn't mind showing off his body for a good cause.

"To all the ladies out there, go ahead and buy the calendar. It's going to be a great calendar.{} There's going to be a lot of us hot firefighters in it for you to look forward to and it helps a good cause," O'Shea said.

Charleston Animal Society said the calendars will go on sale in September for $20.

Details on where the calendars will be sold will be posted on the CAS Facebook page.
