Chef Kim's Breakfast Casserole en Baguette

      4 Eggs

      1 Cup Half & Half

      1/2 Cup Heavy Cream

      1 Clove Garlic Chopped

      1 Pinch Cayenne

      1/4 teaspoon Black Pepper


      Whip the eggs and incorporate the remaining ingredients.

      Hollow out the center of{} one 6" baguette and place in baking pan.

      Add choice of Cheese - 6 oz divided for the top and bottom of the baguette.(Mozzarella, Provolone, Gouda, Cheddar, Swiss, Brie, Parmesan)

      Add choice of veggies to total 1 1/2 Cup . Lightly saut veggies(Asparagus, mushroom, bell pepper, squash, zucchini, carrots, onions, scallions.)

      Add choice of cooked protein to total 1 cup(Bacon, sausage, turkey, ham, pancetta, beef, shrimp)

      Add the egg mixture and top with the remaining cheese.

      Bake at 350F for 20-25 minutes or until set.

      Let settle for a few minutes before cutting. Serve with a side salad or fresh fruit.
