A Summerville eatery made popular from coast to coast by Food Network closed its doors Saturday.

Perfectly Franks on Main Street in Summerville was open from 11-3 for a "yard sale" before all business at the location stopped.

News to relish in: Those who manage the Facebook page for the business say the closing of the restaurant is only temporary, as the restaurant will re-open at a new location to be announced at a later date.

In January, the restaurant's owner said he would likely move the restaurant. Damage to the location from Hurricane Matthew and other storms cost the business money, and they got behind on rent. The damage wasn't covered by insurance, and owner Perry Kuda said his landlord was asking for money he didn't have.

Perfectly Franks was a local favorite long before it was featured on Guy Fieri's Diners Drive-ins and Dives a few years ago in a segment titled, One Righteous Chili Dog.
