      10 arrested after NCPD break up drug party at Economy Inn

      NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) -- The North Charleston Police S.P.E.E.D. Team responded to the Economy Inn and Suites on Rivers Avenue Thursday for reports of drug use and arrested 10 people for various drug violations.

      According to a report, two rooms, 213 and 217 were involved in the bust which occurred around 12:30 a.m. The following suspects were detained.

      • Danny Leon Miller: Simple Possession of Marijuana
      • Yvonne Bro Disorderly Conduct and Public Intoxication
      • Santerio Bernard Smith: PWID Cocaine Base, Simple Possession of Marijuana, Possession of Heroin, PWID MDMA/Ecstasy,Possession of Firearm by Person Convicted Crime of Violence
      • Kurtrina Rocara Bro PWID Cocaine Base, Simple Possession of Marijuana, Possession of Heroin, PWID MDMA/Ecstasy
      • Felshanti Shuler: PWID Cocaine Base, Simple Possession of Marijuana, Possession of Heroin, PWID MDMA/Ecstasy
      • Dominique Grant: PWID Cocaine Base, Simple Possession of Marijuana, Possession of Heroin, PWID MDMA/Ecstasy
      • Antonio Gathers: PWID Cocaine Base, Simple Possession of Marijuana, Possession of Heroin, PWID MDMA/Ecstasy

      Another suspect, Johnelle Reaves, was charged with simple possession as well but had several other warrants for his arrest through Probation and Parole, US Marshalls and Charleston County Sheriffs office for Weapons and Drugs.

      Investigator confiscated nine grams of Cocaine base worth $900, .7 grams of heroine worth $70, one gram of cocaine worth $100, two grams of ecstasy worth $200, and 11 grams of pot worth $110.

      They also found a pistol inside a silver Ford Fusion owned by Santerio Bernard Smith outside the hotel.
