2 taken into custody after reported burglary on Thornlee Drive in N. Charleston

Video shows what appears to be at least two people taken into custody after an incident on Thornlee Drive in North Charleston Tuesday afternoon.

An incident report confirms there was an attempted burglary at a vacant home in the area. Police were dispatched at around 11:50 a.m. and say they found 17-year-old Jerry Cave and 19-year-old Dangelo Drayton hiding in an attic. The report states Drayton told officers he and Cave were "attempting to steal items and sell them for money."

Our team at the scene spotted officers with long guns, a U.S. Marshal going into the house with a riot shield, and at least one officer with a sledge hammer.
