35-year-old repeatedly stabbed another woman, officials say
A 35-year-old Ladson woman is in jail with no bond after a violent stabbing Friday evening at a home on Crosswatch Drive.
Officials say Andra Lynn Giles repeatedly stabbed another woman. She was taken into custody Friday and charged with attempted murder and possession of a weapon during a violent crime.
Chief Deputy Mike Cochran with the Berkeley County Sheriff's Office said the victim was not cooperative and was taken to a local hospital. She's expected to recover.
Investigators have not yet released a motive for the stabbing.
A magistrate judge denied Giles' bond on both charges Saturday.
