MONCKS CORNER, S.C. (WCIV) -- Four people were arrested Sunday after Berkeley County deputies found meth-making materials inside a Moncks Corner home.
According to the Berkeley County Sheriff's Office, deputies went to the Levee Drive home after being alerted to a possible burglary. When deputies arrived, they found several people in the home who, according to the homeowner, did not live there and should not have been there.
Deputies detained the people and searched the home. During the search, the deputies found evidence that meth was being manufactured, according to deputies.
Deputies arrested 21-year-old Brittany Wright, 24-year-old Staci Cassidy, 32-year-old James Truesdale, and 30-year-old Jessie Janes.
All four were charged with manufacturing meth and possession with intent to distribute meth. More charges are pending, officials said.
Bond for Wright and Cassidy was set at $30,000. Bond for Janes was set at $60,000. Truesdale's information was not available.
