Bluffton man accused of sex crime against minor

BLUFFTON, S.C. (WCIV) - A Bluffton man was arrested on charges of child sex crimes, the Attorney General's office announced Tuesday.

According to the Attorney General, Patrick Kevin Vanhorn was charged with criminal sexual conduct with a child. He was arrested by officers in the Bluffton Police Department.

Investigators say they were alerted to allegations Vanhorn had inappropriately touched a minor child, so officers executed a search warrant at his home and seized several computers.

The Attorney General said Vanhorn was arrested on Aug. 15 and charged with first-degree criminal sexual conduct of a minor.

He faces 25 years to life in prison if he is convicted.
