Brothers sought in connection to Georgetown shooting

The Georgetown Police Department is currently looking for a pair of brothers officers say are connected to a shooting that happened early Tuesday morning.

Investigators say a 33-year-old man was shot and taken to Georgetown Memorial Hospital. He was later transported to MUSC for treatment.

A brief statement from the police department states "warrants are being secured for the arrest" of 26-year-old Khrystopher Harrison of Georgetown. Officials say his 25-year-old brother Khryshard Harrison is a person of interest in the case.

"Officers and Investigators have been working through the night to bring this case to a resolution. We appreciate the public's patience and assistance during this incident," the statement reads.
