Charleston Police arrest man in connection to James Island house fire
Charleston, S.C. (WCIV) —
Charleston Police have arrested a 19-year-old man in connection to a James Island house fire back in August.
Police say Sean Clay Davis is facing a charge of arson in the second-degree.
The incident report states police responded to a home on 1306 Mapleton Avenue at 5:57 am on August 1. An investigation was underway following the fire because of suspicious circumstances, according to the report.
Davis is being held at the Al Cannon Detention Center.
Davis was given a $400,000 surety bond and a no contact order at his bond hearing at 2:00 p.m. today, September 15.
