CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) -- Charleston police have arrested a teen they say posted "disturbing online images" on a social networking site.

The West Ashley teen, identified as 17-year-old Jason Thomas Fennell, surrendered himself to police on Tuesday. He is charged with unlawful communication and computer crime in the third degree.

Charleston Police Department officials say they helped Delaware State Police in a joint investigation into images sent to a New Castle, Del., high school and that those images came from a computer in Charleston.

According to CPD spokesman Charles Francis, the postings read "Don't come to school Monday" with an attached picture from the Columbine High School shootings.

Francis said someone also posted: "why build for something you're already prepared for, Concord School Massacre 2013."

The Delaware State Police was told of the postings on Saturday by a student who attends Concord High School. Officials say the postings were on the social networking website
