      CPD arrest one, seek another in large drug bust

      CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) -- Charleston Police arrested a man for weapons and drug violations but are still looking for his brother.

      The CPD Special Investigations Unit and Team One Community Action Team arrested 21-year-old Matthew Campbell after searching his Birdie Garrett Street home in Rosemont Wednesday.

      Police confiscated about 309 grams of cocaine, 39 grams of cocaine base, more than $5,100 in cash and a handgun that was reported stolen from Hanahan.

      Campbell is charged with trafficking cocaine, trafficking cocaine base, possession of cocaine with the intent to distribute within close proximity of a school, possession of cocaine base with the intent to distribute within close proximity of a school, possession of a stolen handgun and possession of a firearm during the commission of a violent crime.

      Campbell's brother, 30-year-old Terrell Campbell is wanted for the same list of charges and police say he is already on probation for a federal weapons charge.
