Deputies arrest 4, issue warrants for 2 others in drug busts

      MONCKS CORNER, S.C. (WCIV) -- Four men were arrested and two others had warrants issued for their arrest Friday in connection to a series of drug busts in Berkeley County.

      According to the Berkeley County Sheriff's Office, 44-year-old David John Davies is wanted on heroin charges and 31-year-old Deandris Dmario Jenkins is wanted on marijuana charges.

      Capt. Mike Williams said search warrants were also executed on Carriage Lane in the Summerville area and Redbank Road in the Goose Creek area resulting in the arrest of four people.

      Deputies arrested 28-year-old Demar Bacon and charged him with possession of cocaine, obstruction of justice and simple possession of marijuana; 31-year-old Irving Smith and charged him with possession of cocaine, possession of stolen property and simple possession of marijuana; 18-year-old Joshua Allan Fisher is charged with one count of possession with intent to distribute marijuana and two counts of distribution of marijuana; and 31-year-old Pierre King is charged with simple possession of marijuana.

      Deputies say Fisher's arrest came after agents made two purchases at a Carriage Lane home.
