GOOSE CREEK, S.C. (WCIV) -- For the second day in a row, Gary Fraley limped into a Goose Creek bond court.
He faced five additional charges on Thursday, including first-degree sexual conduct, kidnapping, unlawful neglect of a child by a legal custodian and two counts of possession of a weapon during a violent crime.
Police charged him with kidnapping and attempted murder Wednesday.
Police warrants showed Fraley picked up a child and told the child's parents they were going to an event at the Royal Lanes bowling alley. Instead, they went to the Econo Lodge on North Goose Creek Boulevard.
There, police said Fraley forced the child to drink NyQuil, and raped her at gunpoint.
After that, Fraley went to the Royal Lanes bowling alley where he allegedly held a manager hostage and fired a gun. The child was able to get away.
The parents of the victim told Fraley he broke their trust and shattered their child's innocence.
Through tears, the child's mother told Fraley he showed "insane cruelty," caused "indescribable pain" and stole her child's most precious gift -- "innocence."
The child's father said the victim's tears would always prove his guilt.
At the hearing, Fraley told the family he didn't remember any of what police say he did.
"I hope it's not true. I hope something different happened to where I dropped her off," Fraley said.
However, he apologized "if this did happen."
Magistrate Gene Janikowski denied Fraley's bond. He did not have an attorney representing him at the hearing.
