Moncks Corner man arrested on cocaine charges
MONCKS CORNER, S.C. (WCIV) -- A Moncks Corner man was arrested Friday by Berkeley County's drug unit on several cocaine charges.
According to Berkeley County deputies, 43-year-old Curtis Lennard Smith was arrested at his Longridge Road home where deputies were executing a search warrant.
During the search, deputies found nearly 200 grams of cocaine, 1 gram of cocaine base, a .40-caliber Glock pistol, and approximately $10,000 in cash.
Curtis is being held at the Hill-Finklea Detention Center awaiting a bond hearing on charges of trafficking cocaine, possession with intent to distribute and distributing cocaine base as well as unlawful possession of a pistol and felon in possession of pistol.
