NCPD: 3 arrested for hotel meth lab

(WCIV) -- North Charleston police arrested three people after officers found a meth lab in a North Charleston hotel room.According to a release from the NCPD, a concerned citizen called regarding a possible meth lab in Room 146 of the Economy Inn and Suites on Rivers Avenue.Officers responded and found "drug paraphernalia, a small quantity of marijuana and a book bag with tubing exposed sitting in plain view."Investigators noted a strong chemical odor and evacuated the occupants.A search of the room uncovered 4.16 grams of finished methamphetamine.The suspects, identified as 19-year-old Ashley N. Wright, 27-year-old Timothy M. Tinsley, and 25-year-old Reginald D. Butler, are all charged with possession with intent to distribute and manufacturing meth.
