North Charleston man, 61, charged in 10-pound pot bust
NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) -- A North Charleston man was arrested Thursday and charged with marijuana possession.
According to a police report, 61-year-old Michael Huber, of Louise Street, was arrested after officers started investigating a suspicious vehicle parked outside a Louise Street home.
Officers could smell marijuana inside the house and knocked on the door. They knocked at Huber answered, the report states. Officers could see a green substance on a digital scale.
While officers were checking the rest of the house, they found one room that had been locked. After gaining entry, they found "a large quantity of marijuana," the report states. Police officials say there was more than 10 pounds found between the room and the attic.
Huber was detained and refused to talk about the marijuana in his home. He was taken to the Al Cannon Detention Center.
