ORANGEBURG, S.C. (WCIV) -- A sex offender wanted since 2005 was arrested on Wednesday, said officials with the Orangeburg County Sheriff's Office.
Sheriff Leroy Ravenell said the U.S. Marshal New York/New Jersey Regional Task Force arrested Joseph Blakely Jones, 32.
Officials said Jones had an outstanding warrant in Orangeburg County for failure to register as a sex offender in 2005.
According to a release, Jones' annual registration date was Oct. 15, 2005, but the release states he did not know of the requirement.
