Police investigating early morning North Charleston stabbings

Dispatch said that North Charleston police were called to, two separate stabbings early Thursday morning.

The first happened in the 7700 block of Corely Drive around midnight. Officials tell us when officers arrived on scene, they located a male victim with a stab wound to the arm. That victim was transported to MUSC.

They say a male suspect was located and taken into custody without incident.

The second stabbing happened in the 3300 block of Mountainbrook Avenue, around 12:45 am.

Upon arrival officers say a female victim was found lying on the ground with a stab wound to her stomach. That victim was transported to Trident Hospital for treatment.

At this time names of suspects or victims haven’t been released.
