Police swarm in Mount Pleasant after bomb threat and bank robbery

Police in Mount Pleasant were swarming Friday afternoon after a bomb threat call at East Cooper Medical Center and a bank robbery in Park West.

Few details are available, but many people reported seeing police cruisers patrolling the area. At around 4:30 p.m. police confirmed there was no device found at the hospital and the scene was in the process of being cleared.

Police have also confirmed the bank robbery was at United Community Bank on Park West Blvd. near Highway 17.
