Search warrants at Bridgeview lead to 2 arrests

      CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) -- Two men were arrested Tuesday and police confiscated drugs and gun at an apartment in the Bridgeview Apartments after officers executed a search warrant.

      The men were also charged with child endangerment.

      According to Charleston police, 21-year-old Rasheed Blake, of North Charleston, was charged with possession of marijuana with the intent to distribute, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and unlawful conduct towards a child.

      Police say 38-year-old Eugene Campbell was charged with two counts of unlawful conduct towards a child, possession of marijuana with the intent to distribute and possession of cocaine.

      Officers confiscated 47 grams of marijuana and a handgun at one apartment, and 21 grams of marijuana, a trace amount of cocaine, and $300 in cash. Three children were also found in the apartments.

      Both men are being held in the Charleston County Detention Center.
