Six people arrested on drug charges in Beaufort County
HILTON HEAD ISLAND, S.C. (WCIV) -- Six suspects were arrested on drug charges Thursday night, said officials with the Beaufort County Sheriff's Office.
Investigators conducted several controlled drug purchases during an investigation into suspected drug activity at the Tabby Walk Apartments on Mathews Drive, officials said.
Ibe Antonio Frazier, 36, was charged with possession with intent to distribute crack cocaine and two bench warrants. Stephan Roberson, 33, is charged with possession with intent to distribute crack cocaine, possession with intent to distribute controlled substance (Xanax), and violation of probation. Kenyata Kirkland, 36, was charged with outstanding warrant for DUS- third offense and two bench warrants. Isaiah Washington Jr., 47, was charged with simple possession of marijuana. Marquise Cordell Williams, 30, was charged with simple possession of marijuana. Crystal Amber Warner, 43, was charged with simple possession of crack cocaine and two bench warrants.
Officials with the sheriff's office's drug investigations section seized about 6.5 grams of crack cocaine, about one gram of marijuana, 45 Xanax pills and miscellaneous drug paraphernalia.
