Summerville murder suspect now in custody
Summerville, S.C. (WCIV) —
Police say the man wanted for a deadly shooting in Summerville is in custody.
Authorities say at approximately 8 a.m. on June 30, the US Marshals Fugitive Task Force and Charleston County Sheriff's Office located and arrested Raymond Alfonzo Mazyck Jr. inside a residence on the 4000 block of Garwood Drive, Woodside Manor subdivision.
He was wanted for attempted murder and possession of a firearm during the commission of a violent crime. On June 21, Summerville Police responded to a West 2nd North Street home for reports of a man found unconscious in his home. That victim later died.
Mazyck's bond hearing is scheduled for 10 a.m. on June 30.
