Three people shot in Walterboro Saturday night
Three people were injured in a Walterboro shooting Saturday night.
According to Colleton County Fire-Rescue, law enforcement and emergency crews were called to a reported shooting at an address along the 100 block of Crosby Street around 9 p.m. Saturday.
Paramedics found two people at the scene suffering gunshot wounds. One person was shot in the thigh, but paramedics who transported him to the Colleton Medial Center said his injuries weren't life-threatening.
A second victim found on the scene suffered multiple gunshot wounds to his legs. While being treated on the scene, Fire-Rescue crews say the man's condition began to worsen. He eventually was flown to Trident Medical Center in North Charleston for more treatment.
Fire-Rescue says a third person also was injured, but was taken to the Colleton Medical Center in a private car.
Walterboro Police are investigating. The victims told investigators they did not know who fired the gunshots, or where the shots came from, police say.
