Two arrested on drug charges in Georgetown
GEORGETOWN, S.C. (WCIV) -- Two people were arrested on drug charges in Georgetown Thursday after citizen complaints, said officials with the Georgetown County Sheriff's Office.
Jody Owens, 35, was charged with trafficking heroin, felony possession of marijuana, possession with intent to distribute Oxycodone and Amphetamines, and unlawful possession of a loaded firearm.
Karen Johnson Harison, 34, was charged with possession with intent to distribute Alprazolam.
Officials said they responded to 249 Gibson Street in the Greentown community.
Officials said the street value of the seized drugs is about $2,500.
