SC teacher charged with contributing to delinquency of minor
WALTERBORO, S.C. (AP/WCIV) - A substitute teacher in Colleton County has been charged with contributing to the delinquency of a minor after videos were brought to sheriff's deputies showing students running wild. Sheriff's deputies told local media outlets that 37-year-old Nicole Perritte of Walterboro was arrested last week after school officials brought in video showing Perritte dancing with male students "in a provocative manner."According to an incident report, Perritte was also recorded on video writing lewd comments on a class whiteboard with one of the male students, discussing the possibility of performing sexual acts with the boy. Investigators said the incident happened in 2012 but the video was brought to the sheriff's office Jan. 30. A school administrator told investigators the video came from a teacher who got it from a student in 2012. It was not clear why the school waited so long to report the video. It was not clear if Perritte has an attorney. She is no longer on the list of substitute teachers. Copyright 2015 The Associated Press. All rights reserved.
