CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) -- Just in time for the holiday shopping rush, organizers of 2nd Sunday on King have announced more chances to load up that space under your tree with locally purchased presents.
King Street Marketing Group is holding 2nd Sunday on King Street, the monthly closure of King Street from Queen to Calhoun, on two additional Sundays this December. The additional event dates are Sunday, December 15 and Sunday, December 22."The additional Sundays are part of a downtown shopping, dining and holiday campaign to support businesses on the Peninsula," said Susan Lucas, Operating Partner of KSMG and promoter of 2nd Sunday. "Now in its fourth year, 2nd Sunday has become the most attended regularly scheduled event in Charleston and the best sales day of the month for many downtown retailers, restaurants and attractions."The events scheduled for all three 2nd Sundays will focus on holiday shopping, dining, and special events.
Parking vouchers for two hours of free parking in most City Garages will be available online and at the information tent.
