40 days of events lead to the 40th Cooper River Bridge Run

To celebrate their 40th year, Cooper River Bridge Run organizers will have 40 days of events leading up to the race.

On Monday, February 20, winner of the Bridge Run Design contest Tate Nation will be signing autographs at the Cooper River Bridge Run office (716 S. Shelmore Blvd. Suite 105 in Mount Pleasant). You can meet Nation from noon until 2 p.m.

Trivia Night will be held at O'Brions Pub on James Island (520 Folly Rd), Wednesday, February 22. The event will kick off at 8 p.m.

You can celebrate the 40th Anniversary of the Cooper River Bridge Run and paint the bridge at Wine & Design. The event is $35 and is BYOB (bring your own bottle of wine).

For runners who are looking to get more prepared for the run, BlueSky Endurance Run is holding a one-mile run/walk, 3-mile run and 5-mile run led by Esther Atkins. All three are free.
