Chef Kim's Recipe: Chocolate Pots De Crme

MOUNT PLEASANT, S.C. (WCIV) -- Try this simple and delicious sweet dish for your love on Valentine's Day.

2 Cups HeavyCream

1 Cup Sugar

2 teaspoonsVanilla

6 Yolks

6 ouncesUnsweet Chocolate -chopped fine


Bring thecream, sugar & vanilla to a boil. Whisk eggs and temper into the hot cream.Whisk continually for about 15 seconds or until the mixture has slightlythickened. Strain into a bowl and add the chocolate Stir to melt &incorporate the chocolate. Divide into serving dishes/ramekins. Chill to setabout 2 hours.

Serve with adollop of cream, fresh fruits.


** Addingadditional flavors to build the flavor profiles are a great way to add somelove.{} Try adding 1 ounce of yourfavorite to the cream before you add the chocolate.
