Charleston creates new affordable homes as part of First Time Homeownership Initiative
New affordable home options are being built in the City of Charleston.
The City recently constructed two homes through its First Time Homeownership Initiative. The homes are located on Doscher Avenue and Nunan Street.
The two properties are available to first-time buyers with the income that does not exceed 80 percent of the area median income.
Created back in 2000, the Homeownership Initiative offers new and rehabilitated homes to first time buyers, and home ownership opportunities to lower and moderate-income families.
