Man dead after participating in Cooper River Bridge Run

The Charleston County Coroner's Office is reporting a man who died after participating in the Cooper River Bridge Run died of "natural causes."
John Frederick Barden, 68, of Troy, North Carolina was transported by EMS from the Cooper River Bridge Run to MUSC. He later lost his life.
