North Charleston police responded to Rivers Avenue near the Best Buy for reports of shots fired Tuesday.

According to a NCPD incident report, a witness saw an occupant of a black SUV firing a gun out of the window .

While officers were talking to witnesses, a vehicle matching that description turned right onto Rivers from the alley that runs behind Barnes and Noble.

During a search of the vehicle, they said they found a bag with 35 white Xanax pills.

One of the five occupants of the vehicle, Zachary Havers, told police the pills were his.

Another occupant said they were meeting someone behind the Best Buy to buy pot and an argument broke out. She said the man they had met started firing at them, hitting their vehicle twice.

Officers arrested Havers for the Xanax but they're still looking for 19-year-old Andrew Samuel Miller.

He's described as a 5'10" white male with blonde hair and hazel eyes, weighing about 240 pounds.

If anyone knows anything about this or any other crime, they are asked to call Crime Stoppers at 554-1111.
