Highway 41 in Mt. Pleasant reopens more than four hours after crash
Highway 41 in Mount Pleasant reopened fully to traffic shortly before 9:30 p.m. Friday, after a wreck forced police to close the road for more than four hours.
Mount Pleasant Police say a wreck with injuries on Highway 41 at Tradewind Drive blocked the roadway.
Police say traffic was being diverted and turned around at Horlbeck Creek while the worked to clear the accident.
Photos provided by a witness show a car overturned into the marsh.
Police have not provided details about any possible injuries at this time.
